In advance of our upcoming trip to Germany and France we have been filling in our new website with stories from past trips as well as posts about some of the logistics of travel.
An older trip we’ve included on the site is our cycling trip along the Rhine River in 2023. This trip began in France, detoured briefly into Switzerland, followed the river through Germany, and ended in Amsterdam.

Another trip in 2023, this time hiking rather than cycling, was our 20-day Coast to Coast walk in Northern England. On this trip we signed on with a company that carried our luggage from one town to the next and made our hotel reservations in advance, so all we had to do was carry a day pack and show up at the end of each day to claim our accommodations. Oh, and hike. A lot.
